The project started off as a dream of Sima Moyo to build a school in Sizinda so that children would not have to get up early and walk several miles to school only to arrive tired and not ready to learn.

Robert and Sima have worked together to build the school Moses Lake Academy on the land that they have been given. By May 2023, the Kindergarden, First, Second, Third, and Forth grade classrooms have been built and the children started coming to school even before the roof was complete on the buildings. The school dedication took place in December 2023 with the Minister of Education and several other dignetaries in attendance.

Sima and Robert are currently working on the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth grade classrooms in the next block to be completed in late 2024. The High School will be the last block of classrooms to be constructed.

The well was one of the first projects completed on the site so that construction could start on the school.

Robert has worked with a local doctor and is going to build a clinic on the school grounds so that health care is available to the families that live near the school.

The children at the school are already testing at highest levels in the Victoria Fall area.

Sima has worked with the chief and gotten land to grow fruits and vegetables for the children to eat. With work, they are hoping to have the farm be able to supply them and the community with food.
